Because of business trips and personal trips, I have been to to Vegas 15+ times in 6 years in USA. Here’s some hotels that I have stayed before and it might can save some time to browse around.

1. Hotel in Strip (from South to North)

Some historical, old-fashioned, well-designed hotels are in the center of strip. It includes of Venetian、Mirage、Caesar、Bellagio, etc. On the other hands, the new, fancy hotels would be the two sides of strip. Ex, Wynn、Aria、Vdara. As my personal opinion, you could do sightseeing to central strip and stay in more fancy hotels. ( Smell nice, furniture is more new, more quiet.)

Five stars hotel. It’s pretty new and you’ll see a lot of flowers decoration and enjoy luxury brands shopping!

Want to enjoy the brunch and nice pool views? It’s a great place to enjoy!

1-2. Treasure Island (Ti)

Four stars hotels. It’s located in central of strip. Compared its nearby hotels Venetian, Wynn, Ti is much cheaper and affordable. If you consider the nice location but budget concerns, Ti is the good suggestion to stay!

1-2-4 Recommend restaurant: Maggiano’s Little Italy

It’s not in Ti but just cross the bridge to Fashion Show. There’s nice inexpensive Italian restaurant and can enjoy the great nice view. It’s nice place to take family and friends here.

1-3. Venetian

Five starts hotel. It’s located on the strip. It’s same design as the casino in Macao. People will enjoy the architecture design,, restaurant, shoppers inside. It’s nice place to take your customers, family, friends to go there.

If you want to enjoy the Italy canal, you could take a boat and enjoy the human-design surrounding.

1-3-4 Recommend restaurant: Canaletto Ristorante Veneto 

Every time I was there and I feel like I was in the illusion that I was in Italy. Food is great and highly recommend to take family, friends or customers here.

1-4. Mirage

4.5 Start hotel. Because of works, I used to come here a lot. You will experience the nice fire show. Don’t forget to go nearby Bellegio water fountain show, you will feel it’s worth it to come to Vegas and enjoy the great “Sin City”.

1-4-4 Recommend restaurant: Cravings Buffet 

Compared to Wynn or Caesar buffet, I would say Buffet in Mirage is much cheaper but with a lot of food choices. How to avoid the high temperature in Vegas summer time? It’s not bad idea to take family or friends and enjoy the long meal and chat.

1-5. Caesar

4.5 Starts. It’s located in the strip. You will enjoy man shopper and restaurants. The hotels are decorated by Rome sculpture. It’s nice to go sight-seeing.

1-5-4 Recommend restaurant: Bacchanal Buffet

This buffet is very famous so you should keep the time to wait the line. I used to come here a lot with colleagues because of business trip. The good thing of buffet is that everyone ( American, Asian) can all enjoy their food. However few years later, we would prefer to eat more fine food and avoid the crowd.

1-6. Aria

Five stars hotel. You will see Asian god- laughing buddha in the front door. The hotel is pretty new and fancy.

1-1-4 Recommend restaurant: Bardot Brasserie

French cuisine. It’s located in the corner of 1st floor. There’s fine food and quit atmosphere. It’s great place to take customers here.

1-7. Vdara (The heaven in Sin City)

Five starts hotel. It’s located in Aria. Because of work, I stayed here many time and highly recommend this hotel. It takes only 11 mins driving from airport to hotel. And it only takes 7 mins to Mirage( my trade show place). As most Uber, Lyft, or taxi driver will just drive from back road to avoid strip traffic.

In addition, hotel smells very good and pretty quiet, no casino( well… I’m not a super gambling fans.) You’ll see most of business people in lounge and discuss the business. That’s why I’m thinking it’s a heaven in Sin City.

The room is very new and clean. From some room, you’ll enjoy the great Bellagio water fountain show.

2. Hotels in outside of Strip (from South to North)

2-1. Circus Circus

3 Starts hotel. I got the one time experience to stay there. ( In that time, company is with more tight budget concerns because of more people and expensive trade show fees). Hotel is pretty cheap. If you have budget concerns, you could consider here. It takes 13 mins driving from hotel to strip.

2-2. Palms Casino Resort

4.5 Stars. Our company booked the suite one time. So it’s show room to list our project, demo to customers. And I slept there at night. Hotel was pretty great but it’s a bit far to strip( 10 mins drive).

I still remember the best moment – taking hot bath tub and enjoy the great night view nearby my window!
